第四章 浸水衣與防曬衣

Chapter 3 Immersion and Anti-Exposure Suits

4.1 一般資訊

General Information

本船配備符合「國際海上人命安全公約」(SOLAS)第三章第7.3條和第32.3條(視情況而定)規定的浸水衣。

This vessel carries immersion suits in compliance with Regulations 7.3, 32.3 as appropriate of Chapter III of SOLAS.

根據這些規定，每位被指派為救援艇船員或海上撤離系統的工作人員均應配備浸水衣和/或防曬衣。如果船舶在溫暖氣候區航行，主管機關可免除這兩項規定。

Under the regulations, immersion suits and/or anti-exposure suits are provided for every person assigned to crew the rescue boat or assigned to the marine evacuation system as appropriate. The Administration may grant dispensation from both regulations where the vessel trades in warm climates.

浸水衣

Immersion Suits

浸水衣的設計與構造受「國際救生器材章程」(LSA Code)第2.3的規範。

The design and construction of immersion suits is governed by paragraph 2.3 of the International Life-Saving Appliance Code (LSA Code).

浸水衣可使穿著者保持熱平衡，並在不少於4.5公尺的高度跳水後，能在水中保持乾燥。

Immersion suits allow the wearer to maintain thermal balance and, following a jump of not less than 4.5 metres, to remain dry when in water.

浸水衣只有在正確穿著和調整後才能正常運作，降低了進水的可能性，因為即使浸水衣內有少量水，也會顯著降低其保暖性。浸水衣配有頭罩和手套，需從一開始就戴上，因為頭部和手部是身體散熱較強的兩個部位。

The immersion suit will only function properly if it is correctly worn and adjusted. This reduces the possibility of water entry, as even a small amount of water within the suit significantly reduces the insulation provided. The suit has a hood and gloves, to be used from the outset as the head and hands are two areas of the body with high levels of heat loss.

不含救生衣的浸水衣還配有一個用繩子牢固連接的哨子，以及一個發光強度為0.75 cd的燈，照明時間至少為8小時。與救生衣配合使用的浸水衣則使用救生衣的燈和哨子。

Suits intended for use without a lifejacket are also provided with a whistle securely attached with a cord, and a light with a luminous intensity of 0.75 cd capable of providing illumination for at least eight hours. Suits intended for use in conjunction with a lifejacket use the lifejacket's light and whistle.

需要穿著浸水衣的人員必須確保熟悉穿戴程序和相關設備的使用方法。

Personnel required to wear immersion suits must ensure that they are familiar with the donning procedures, and the use of associated equipment.

防曬衣

Anti-exposure Suits

防曬衣的設計與構造受「國際救生器材章程」(LSA Code)第2.4的規範。

The design and construction of anti-exposure suits is governed by paragraph 2.4 of the International Life-Saving Appliance Code (LSA Code).

防曬衣的結構與浸水衣相似，但前者通常具有更大的活動範圍，並且由絕熱材料製成在，可在救援和棄船作業中減少熱力。

The anti-exposure suit is similar in construction to the immersion suit except that it generally affords a greater degree of movement and is made of material that reduces heat stress during rescue and abandonment operations.

防曬衣允許穿戴者能爬下至少5公尺長的垂直梯子，游泳至少25公尺並登上救生艇。

An anti-exposure suit permits a wearer to climb down a vertical ladder of at least 5 m length, swim at least 25 m and board a survival craft.

防曬衣覆蓋全身，但頭部和手部除外(如果主管機關允許，也可包括腳部除外)。頭罩和手套通常另外分開提供。

The suit covers the whole body with the exception of the head and hands (and feet, where permitted by the Administration). A hood and gloves are normally supplied separately.

所有防曬衣均配有燈和哨子。

All anti-exposure suits are fitted with a light and whistle.

4.2 穿戴防護服

Donning the Suit

正確穿戴和使用浸水衣和/或防曬衣至關重要，以保持防護服的完整性。

It is essential that immersion and/or anti-exposure suits are worn and used correctly in order to preserve the integrity of the suit.

 

4.3 防護衣的使用

4.4 保養和維修

Maintenance and Repair

船員在船上期間，應自行負責其浸水衣/防曬衣的保養。如有任何損壞跡象，必須立即報告安全官。
Crew members are personally responsible for the care of their immersion and/or anti-exposure suit for the time on board. Any sign of deterioration on suit must be reported immediately to the Safety Officer.

如果浸水衣/防曬衣在訓練和演習中使用過，應使用淡水徹底清洗，並檢查是否有磨損或損壞跡象。然後，應讓浸水衣完全乾燥後再放回存放處。
If the suit has been used during training and drills, it should be thoroughly washed with fresh water and checked for signs of wear or damage. The suit should then be allowed to dry completely before being returned to its stowage.

浸水衣/防曬衣的維修只能由製造商或製造商授權的人員進行。

Repairs to the suit must be carried out ONLY by the manufacturer, or by persons authorised by the manufacturer.

必須定期檢查浸水衣/防曬衣，確保其狀況良好，且所有配件功能正常。

Regular inspections of the suits must be carried out to ensure that they are in good condition, and that all attachments function correctly.

根據「國際海上人命安全公約」第三章20.7條的要求，對浸水衣/防曬衣進行檢查時，建議應遵循以下步驟：

When carrying out the inspection of immersion suits and anti-exposure suits required by SOLAS regulation III/20.7, the following procedure is recommended.

1. 檢查收納袋的封口以及收納袋的整體狀況，以確保浸水衣/防曬衣易於取出。確保穿戴說明清晰易讀。確認浸水衣/防曬衣的種類和尺寸與收納袋上標示的一致。
Check closures on storage bag as well as general condition of bag for ease of removal of suit. Ensure donning instructions are legible. Confirm that suit is the type and size identified on the bag.

2. 將浸水衣/防曬衣平鋪在乾淨平整的表面上。確保浸水衣/防曬衣內外乾燥。目視檢查是否有損壞。
Lay the suit on a clean, flat surface. Make sure the suit is dry inside and out. Visually check for damage.

3. 上下滑動拉鍊，檢查拉鍊是否順暢。使用製造商推薦的潤滑劑，潤滑拉鍊的前後和拉鍊扣。如果拉鍊無法正常使用，則應停止使用浸水衣/防曬衣。
Check the zipper by sliding it up and down to check for ease of operation. Using lubricant recommended by the manufacturer, lubricate the front and back of the zipper and the slide fastener. If the zipper is not functional, the suit should be removed from service.

4. 檢查反光帶的狀況和黏合情況。如有必要，請更換。
Check retro reflective tape for condition and adhesion. Replace if necessary.

5. 將收納袋拉鍊完全拉開，將浸水衣/防曬衣放入。
Replace suits in the bag with zippers fully opened.

6. 應利用此類檢查的機會，讓船員練習穿著浸水衣/防曬衣。
The opportunity should be taken at such inspections for the crew to practice donning the immersion suits or anti-exposure suits.

Viking PS 2014 immersion suit donning instruction

1. 脫掉帽子和鞋子。

Remove hood and footwear.

2. 像穿連身服一樣穿上防護衣－先穿腿。

Put on the suit like a pair of coveralls - legs first.

3. 將正面拉鍊拉至臉部。確保拉鍊沒有被遮擋，否則可能會影響其功能。

Zip the front zip fastener all the way to your face. Make sure that the zip fastener is not obstructed, (might damage the functioning).

4. 將靴子上的帶子繞在腿部，並繫緊。

Wrap the straps on the boots around the legs and tighten.

5. 穿上救生衣－位於浸水衣的上面。

Put on the lifejacket- on the top of the immersion suit.

6. 戴上手套。

Put on the gloves.

7. 雙腳先入水。確保救生衣朝上。

Jump into the water feet first. Turn over on your lifejacket.
