1. 法規

Legislation

本消防訓練手冊係根據SOLAS/74公約2000年修正案及其1988年議定書第II章第15.2.3條的規定，需隨船攜帶。

This Fire Training Manual is carried aboard this ship in compliance with Regulation 15.2.3 of the 2000 Amendments to Chapter II 2 of SOLAS 74 and its Protocol of 1988 as set out in the SOLAS Consolidated Edition.

 

2. 目的

Purpose

本手冊旨在向所有船員提供最佳防火方法，描述船上配備的消防設備和器材的功能與操作，並提供船上滅火的最佳方案。本手冊旨在供所有船員參考，因此每個船員餐廳、娛樂室或每個船員艙間都應備有一本，以便能隨時取用。

The purpose of this Manual is to give all members of the ship information on the best methods of fire prevention, describe the function and operation of the fire-fighting appliances and equipment provided on the ship, and offer best practice for extinguishing a fire onboard ship. This Manual is intended as a reference source for all crew members, and a copy should be available in each crew mess room and recreation room or in each crew cabin in order that there is ready access to the contents.

 

3. 內容

Contents

本手冊的內容為一般通用性質。但而法規要求需包含每一特定船舶的資訊。因此在適當的地方，我們會以鮮明的顏色(見下文範例)突出顯示這些資訊，以便引起船員的注意。
The contents of this Manual are generic in nature; however provision has been made for the inclusion of vessel specific information. The attention of crew members to the location of this information is drawn by a text box (see example below) where appropriate.

4. 功能

Function

This Manual may also be used as a guide and reference source for those persons whose duty it is to give instruction to other members of the crew in fire prevention, the use of fire fighting appliances and equipment and in the best methods of fighting a fire aboard ship.

 

5. 責任

Responsibility

船上安全員或船長指定的其他負責人，負責保管船上攜帶的本手冊及所有副本。

The shipboard Safety Officer or other responsible person nominated by the Master is responsible for the maintenance of all copies of this publication held onboard.
